How much does your cleaning service cost?

£13.00 per hour inc VAT. Spring cleaning & Pre End of Tenancy is quoted separately, please contact us at contact@yourclean.co.uk. for more information.

How am I charged?

You will be charged weekly, to your selected debit or credit card. At the end of each month you will receive a statement detailing that month’s cleaning activity. Please note that we have to add on a 2.5% credit card charge to all credit card transactions. There are no further charges when using Debit, Maestro, Solo and Switch.

What is the minimum amount of time I can book a cleaner for?

A minimum of three hours per visit is required for regular cleaning. This can vary with other services depending on the size of the property and the kind of clean that is needed.

What cleaning equipment will I need?

This is dependent on the service you have booked. If it’s a regular clean/one- off clean then the following would be useful:  a vacuum cleaner (with spare bags if needed); broom & dustpan and brush; mop; two buckets; feather duster or lambs-wool duster; pink cleaning; blue cleaning cloths; sponges with a green scourers side; polishing cloths; bathroom spray, foam or cream; kitchen spray; limescale treatment such as Viakal (please check that it is appropriate for your bath and sink); window cleaner spray; polish; bleach. If you are unsure about any of the above then please contact us.

Can the cleaner change my bedding?

Yes of course. If you leave clean bedding on the end of the bed or another allocated area this will be done. If you would also like us to iron the bedding please let us know in advance. Please be aware it does take extra time to iron bedding so keep this in mind.

This is the first time I have used a cleaner! Is there anything more I should know?

Please show your cleaner both courtesy and respect. They are the fantastic people who will tidy your home, mop your floors and clean your lavatories. They will do their best to make sure that you are pleased their work. You cleaner will want to feel valued so do encourage them with positive feedback – They will really appreciate this.
Your cleaner will work hard throughout the time she is with you so please do offer them a tea or coffee. Alternatively if you will not be around please let them know how to use the kettle etc. Some of our existing clients let their cleaner switch on the radio whilst cleaning – we all know a bit of music can create a nicer atmosphere to work in
