We will endeavour to find out to find out what the principal soiling is in the carpet,  what type of cleaning the carpet has been subjected to in the past,  and the expectation level of how far the carpet can be restored cost effectively.

The type of soiling the carpet is compacted with and the nature of the carpet fibres (whether solution or space dyed, pile construction, stain resistant or not, backing system etc.) will determine the system and chemicals we will use to achieve the best results.

However some coffee spills that may look similar to the sticky black mark can be nearly impossible to fully remove if the coffee was very hot when it landed on the carpet and the fibre is space dyed. This is especially true if your daily cleaner or other well-meaning person has had a try or several attempts at removing it with a variety of cleaners or stain removers.
